Our unique range of history workshops and shows for primary schools offer open-ended workshops and intimate classroom-based sessions. We look at the different perspectives on the lives of people in the past and ask important questions on how the past has affected the present. The four exciting options we deliver our workshops discuss are:

Black History Month
History of Heroes provides content regarding the very important subject of black history month.
Going beyond stories of racism and slavery to spotlight black achievement, we take this time to recognize stories that had been largely forgotten and neglected as part of the national narrative. We also focus on one of our most influential leaders Martin Luther King Jr.
Romans
After an introductory talk, the focus of the romans workshop is life in Britain under the Pax Romana.
The children will explore the dramatic change in the lifestyle of the lowliest of citizens after the arrival of the Roman legions. They will be able to touch artefacts and feel the excitement of the games in the arenas just like in the times of 31BC.

Britishness
Defining elements of British culture, how Britain has changed over the years through a fantastic diverse population and much more.
Through a range of dance, props and presentations we take students back into the history of the moments that defined Britain. We also get to grips with how Queen Elizabeth has had such a profound effect on the union and helped us through some testing times.
World War 2
This workshop delves into how life was different during WW2. Learning how inspiring individuals helped turn the tide of the war for the allies.
Our main hero of the workshop is Alan Turing. An incredibly clever man who has often been overlooked in history. We will highlight his outstanding contribution to the war effort and to the code breakers at Bletchley Park.
